It is Christmas Eve

I can't believe it is already Christmas Eve! Today my parents come over for an appetizer dinner! We just hang around here and play games usually! I did want to show you some projects I completed yesterday. First is a picture frame that I made Jack for Christmas. It is so hard making for a boy especially since I have girls and you can make it frilly! Oh well I don't really like it but hopefully he will!
Paper - SU & CM
Ribbon - Offray
Flowers - No clue
Rubons - Dollar Store
Flourish stamp - Heidi Swapp (I think)
Embossing powder
Ink - Emboss it

The next project is his mom's candles! I did 2 snowman & 1 big candle to match the coaster. I had planned on making a fall one but messed up the one candle and got mad! LOL I did calm down and start all over! I like what I did and hopefully Susan will too!

Candle - Walmart
Stamps - SU & G studio
Ink - Stazon & SU black classic
Markers - Bic Mark it's & Sugarloaf
Ribbon - Offray
This is only the 2nd time I made candles so I was pleased with the outcome! Actually it really is not that hard and makes great presents! If you would like to know how I did it please leave me a message & I will send you details! The one snowman candle has snowflakes too but you can't see them!

The 21st was Antonia's birthday! She had a great time and finally got a fish tank! We all planned to buy stuff for it so she could have it running before Christmas! We bought her a gift card for Pet Supplies Plus to buy fishie's (yes it is spelled wrong). I will post a picture or so of her big day! I can't believe she is 11 already! I also can't believe Taylor has had a boyfriend for a year and a month! My girls are so grown! Do you think she is excited to get her tank?????

Okay well that is it for today! I want to wish all my family and friends a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Whew I have been craft busy!

How about you? I still have Christmas cards to make but need to get stamps! Nothing like waiting until the last minute! Sure seems to be my life though! I did get the teacher's gifts done! Well or at least I thought I did. Much to my surprise Taylor changed her mind and decided to give the same gifts as Antonia. It is a good thing that when I buy the hot cocoa packets from Market Day there is 30 of them! So let me get the pictures for you to see.

Paper - SU
Stamps - SU, Rubberstampede & Hero Arts
Pencils - Prismacolor
Blender - Baby oil & Mineral oil
Stickles & Gelly roll pen
Embossing - Ranger
Ribbon - ?
Diamond Glaze

W actually had to make 2 more but I did not get a picture of those! Since we did them quick they were not as fancy! I learned to make these a few years back at a crop in South Carolina. There was a Sampin Up gal there who did this in a small version for regular cocoa packs. This was my first real attempted at stamping back then and I have really gotten hooked!

I did attempt something for my first time & used my own brain for it so you know it sucks! Anyhow, I am making candles for Jack's mom for Christmas! Of course the big one I messed up!!!! Go figure! I might try to use it still but tell her to put the one part in the back where no one will see it. I do have extra candles just in case but no 4 wicks! I did by two so I will maybe just do pillars and 2 big ones! Anyhow, my attempt was a candle coaster! I used Stazon & various stamps underneath the coaster. Here is the picture.
Candle coaster - ?
Stamps - Studio G
Ink - Stazon
Markers - Bic Mark it's!

Basically I stamped it then colored it! I probably should have used paint or paint pens if they have such a thing but I thought about the fact that she won't wash it just wipe it down. So I colored it instead! Saves time and money! I am going to finish her candles today or at least I hope! When I finish I will get a picture!!!

Well I have to get going since I need to clean house for family to come over tomorrow for Antonia's birthday tomorrow! Plus things to finish altering and scrapping! Thanks for stopping by all! Hugs

Man am I bad!

It has been a week again!!!! Just seems like I am not able to get to my blog since I want to get to everyone else's! Things have been busy though. We had Taylor's choir concert on Thursday which was okay plus night shopping at Walmart with Taylor. We were able to finish Antonia plus her birthday done! It is tough having a Dec. 21st birthday. Friday I spent the day shopping with my mom!!! We accomplished a whole lot!!! I was able to get James, Taylor and mostly my dad done! That was so wonderful. Mom and I had lunch just the two of us which has been a long time since we did! Heck for over a year we have gotten a new family member (Jack) so it has been different for a long time! Defiantly in a good way! We laughed, gossiped (about nothing really) and stuffed our faces! We had blast shopping and picking on people!!!! When you are Mrs. America and her daughter you can make fun of people!!!! LMAO We are so NOT!!!! But it was fun anyway. We had a great time!!!!! I was super glad to get so much done!
Well I will show you a couple more cards I did quite a while ago! I have been trying to stamp images and color them plus use stickles if I want so they can dry! I will cut and assemble later!

Lazy! Sorry!

I have not updated for over a week! I am sorry!!!!! I have been visiting people still but just have not wanted to type on my own! Eek.

I wish I could say something is new but it is not!!!! I have been trying to do holiday shopping mostly. I thought a week ago my allergies were just acting up but now I think it is a cold!!! My poor nose is so stuffed and my asthma is kicking my behind! So that takes a lot out of me so that could be contributing to my laziness!

This card was a boo boo card too! I don't know why but I recently decided to work with what I have instead of starting all over! This was the second version of my first boo boo card like this! Probably wonder why this is a boo boo and that is because I cut the yellow to small then decided to use my scallop edge punch from SU but I am dumb and have not figured out how to do all around with it! To fix it I used my cutter causing the yellow to be to small! I just decided to offset the two colors. I felt like it needed something so I did the yellow Stickles all around the white! I ended up happy with my creation!!!!! Believe it or not!
Paper - SU
Watercolor Paper - No idea
Stamps - SU & Rubber Stampede
Markers - Sugarloaf & Bic Mark it's
Ribbon - Joann
Stickles
Glitter - No idea
Ink - SU & Versamark
Embossing powder - Ranger

Here is a card Taylor did for my sketch challenge at Never Been Kissed Scrappers! She did not like it but I thought it came out cute! Heck for a 13 year old it is pretty darn good!

Details of her card:
Paper - SU & DCWV
Ribbon - Offray (I think)
Stamps - SU
Scallop circle punch - SU
Pop up dot - Zots
Ink - SU
Embossing powder - Ranger

Well thanks for looking today! I will hopefully update again soon instead of being lazy! LOL Be on the lookout for my gingerbread cards!
