Hello all-
Well I know I did not make the one design team already! I am hoping that out there somewhere is someone who will like my style!!!!! She actually picked a few girls before hand but said it was so hard she put the names in a hat and drew them! I guess my name stayed in the hat this time. I realized that my cards are not very foo foo because I am certainly not girly! I also find I don't like busy cards or vintage style (for me that is). Basically right there I just took myself out of most places!!!! I guess I will just keep trying!!!! Can't hurt anyway!

We were given a variety of things to chosen from The Cutting Cafe!!!!! I decided to take the top note. First I did the monster with paper piecing! This is my first ever try at paper piecing!!!! To finish my monster, I used Whiskers Brush Markers on the horns, hands and toes. I wanted him to look Halloween so I added the pumpkin bucket from another stamp set. Next was rounding the corners. Next I opened the top note in Adobe so that I could size it down
to fit my card how I wanted. I am thinking I should have made it a little bigger but I still think it came out okay. I chose the papers, embellies and ribbon and tah dah the finished product! This is a 6x6 card by the way.
I have so many things that made me go hum or just ticked me off today! I was gonna beef about it here but decided to save you all the aggravation!
Well my parents house is finally being built! She was able to stand in her future bedroom while my dad looked down from the upper bedrooms! LOL It is nice to see the framing work being done.

Fink without a doubt you will be snatched up by someone, your cards are awesome. Don't loose your confidence, these DT calls are jampacked with girls looking a spot, so its inevitable that there are a lot of disappointed people about. But hey it just gives you more time to enjoy entering challenges! Good luck.

I don't think you should ever change what you are or who you are, including your style just to fit a team. There is some team out there that is going to snatch you up in a heartbeat! Just don't loose faith in yourself!

I hate applying for DT positions I get refused frequently however I know what I like and will stick to it not alter for the sake of being on a team! I believe you hold your ground there too and that is what it's about! Beth
