TGIF

I don't know about you all but I am glad it is Friday! It has been a long week to me. I am pretty positive Antonia is happy because she will not have to get up early, James is happy because no work and Taylor is the unhappy one! Why, you ask because she won't get to see her boyfriend every day! Funny part is that they have been best friends for 5 years now. Our families do all kinds of stuff together. What is even worse is that it is a long weekend! LOL

Tomorrow is James' 40th birthday and we were told under no circumstances to have a party! He is so not fun. When I turned 40 I wanted one! I for some reason felt that it was an age I reached that I wanted to celebrate! I sure have had a change of attitude since turning 40. I don't take to much of any one's bull and speak my mind! Both things really do get me in trouble!! I think we are going on a picnic for his birthday. The rest of the weekend, who knows!

I came really close to doing something stupid yesterday! I am in a Stampin Up monthly club that is held once a month on Thursday! Well I read the months happenings in an email I was sent saying okay it is on Thursday. I guess I will get my face on since most of the other ones James has been travelling and I could not make it. I complained all day (to myself--no one else is home) that I just did not feel like putting my face on and even leaving the house! So I just continued to complain!!!!! As I was sitting online I decided to check the email one more time before I got ready, of course trying to get pumped up about it. As I read the email, I can't figure out why she would put the dates out of order. Like duh! Then all the sudden the light bulb went off over my head and I realized the date was September 20th not until next month! Talk about dumb--I almost went to her house! I would have felt like a fool!!! I guess it is not the first time!

I am hoping to get some cards done this weekend! I have to post the one Taylor made for my great aunt since she is under the weather! I am hoping to get on this weekend and probably will! In case I don't have a great holiday!

Today was busy!

After getting up, I of course sprung into action!!!!! Who I am trying to kid! First of all I did not spring into anything and two I dragged myself to the kitchen to make coffee. After that was done, I went to brush my teeth then to the mailbox! Luckily it was all junk mail! Though I did get the flyer from Archivers. I can't wait for Taylor and I to get back to our once a month scrapping there. If you have an Archivers near you then I suggest going for the Scrapmania!!!! It is 6 hours of scrapping, the greatest dinner imaginable, prize and a make and take! It is so worth the $15! They even let you run a tab and pay at the end of the night! Now that I blabbered on and on---to the point of my story. After the mail the only thing I sprung on was the internet!!! I had to visit my favorite place, Creative Xpress! I have been a member for over 2 years and just love it and everyone there. I have met some of the girls by going to crop where they live. One of these days I will post pictures! I think I spend so much time here that they should pay me! Then again it is good they don't make me pay! Creative Xpress is a scrapping and stamping website and a store. The forums are filled with so much information it is fun to be there! So yes this is the only time I sprung!!!!!

Once I finished goofing off, I had to put my face on since we all were going to visit my dad in the hospital when the girls got home from school. Oh yeah put my face on is make up which I do very little of these days! I wanted get a card made for my dad since when my mom was in the hospital over a year ago I made a get well card for her. I sat down and put colors together and decided that I would do it for a challange on line too! Basically, I was killing 2 birds with one stone. The card is the one you see the picture of! After getting out what seemed like every stamp I own it was complete! Yea! I rushed out to get a picture of it to post!

Finally we were off to visit dad! I told James that I wanted to stop and get him a cup of coffee at the Speedway. Of course when stopping there that means we have to buy Icee's, pop and sunflower seeds. Normally we would get 2 things of nachos and cheese, ours with jalapeno's!!!!! So now we are in the car all happy and I did not have room for 2 cups of coffee so I put it on the center console for a brief second and was sure sorry I did! James turned and bumped the cup spilling it on the seat and splashing it all over me!!!!! Needless to say we had to go back home to change! We finally did make it to the hospital and got our visit in. Luckily dad was being released today! His white blood count was down under 1100! He told James and me that the first thing he was going to do was have a ciggy! He did say that he wants to cut back and I sure hope he does!

The rest of my evening was spent cleaning my scrap room while on CX! Now, it is midnight and I am sitting here working on my blog! I sure hope you all like my card! I am also going to post a picture of our kitten who decided he needed to help me make dad's card! He also likes to be a typer!!! The bad part is that he can't spell very well but heck he is only 9 months!

Finally blogging

Wow, this is amazing! I have started probably millions of these but never do anything with them! I forget the passwords or how to find them even so I just let them go! Well today I actually sat down and did it! Basically I got off my lazy behind and decided to start typing right now. So, now you can join me and my family happenings.

Today was not the greatest day! Yesterday the family and I went to visit my parents for our anniversary since we had not been able to hook up until now. They have been doing some home remodling so we went there to see it too. I will say that I don't care for the color they chose but hey I don't live there anymore so I can't complain!!!!! Anyway, my dad was feeling under the weather! We all figured it was because he was working so hard in the house the last few weeks! Today I called my mom to see how dad was and she said he went to work but that when she got home she was taking him to the hospital! This is an amazing thing as my dad does not do doctors or hospitals! He had a major swelling in his one testicle and it hurt so bad he pretty much begged to go! They admitted him to the hospital for the next few days because he has a major infection. He of course complianed he did not want to stay and they told him it would be dangerous for him not to. I guess that must have changed his mind! Now, I know where my girls get their stuborness becuase it sure isn't from me!

I did have some fun today getting the mail! I know you are thinking getting the mail like duh--bills! Nope! I got my first order from Stamping Bella! I just love the Billboardbella! She is so cute and holding a sign that has different sayings you can use! It is a very versatile stamp! I also got the pmsbella, cakebella, bubblebella, gumpybella (so me!) & giftbella w/hat

Well that was my day today!
