Happy New Year everyone! I hope it was a safe one for you all. On New Year’s Eve, we went to my inlaws for my father in laws birthday. Usually we stay the night but this year we came home. James made his nacho dip and we played Pictionary using the Udraw (Wii gizmo that’s new) until it was time for the countdown. We watched that then Jack (Taylor’s bf of 3 years) and Antonia blew off some fireworks then we took Jack home. New Year’s day was dinner at my parents. Every year is the same meal! Pork, sauerkraut, Kilebasa and what ever else. The good luck stuff supposedly but not sure it works! The best part was this was my parents first new year in the new house since the old one burnt down! It was also the first Christmas. For those who do not know my parents house burnt down on Mother’s Day 2009 and the new house was finished February 2010.

I used unknown paper (cover gone), ribbon from a Christmas present (I cheated, LOL) and Pearls. I made the layout design on my own. That is unusual for me!

Using a ribbon from a gift is not cheating! It's called reduce, reuse and recycle and I do it all the time! I love this mouse image!
I agree with Oma, reducing carbon footprint and free crafty stash is always a good thing :) You are merely opening up your mind to new possibilities. I must admit when I open a card or a present I am always looking at the wrapping etc to see if I can re-use something in my crafting.
Your card is lovely, love a teamie who isn't afraid of patterned paper the same as me :)
