The Character Cafe Challenge Rectangle Card

Hey there-

This week's challenge for half the team is a rectangle card. Basically, the dimensions are 8x8 1/2 scoring at 4. This card size should fit a business envie! Come give it a try with us and have a chance to win! :)

I am again a bad Fink because I made a card how I wanted but I don't have a particular place in blog land it will fit! Antonia started a reading class for extra help through John Carroll University to help her out. This class supposedly will increase her reading skills, comprehension and speed. I just hope it is worth the money and that it helps her out so she quits talking negatively about herself like saying she is just stupid! Ugh, as her mom it hurts for her to do this especially in going in the 7th grade! I have my fingers crossed. Anyway, to my point, I was taking Antonia to IHop since she is doing summer school but Taylor does not like there so I took her to Subway while A was at class. Taylor always doodles and love to write so she had paper with her. I borrowed a sheet to see if my little brain could come up with my own sketches! Well I was so shocked because I came up with a couple good ones! LOL Or at least I think so! The image I wanted to use was Walk the Beach. I had asked Kelly if she could design a teen couple out walking for me and this image was just that! The only difference is the couple's height!!!! I was saying this was Taylor and Jack but T is only 5 foot and Jack is 6 ft 2 already and only 15! So it is so funny to see them together! LOL So she said this image was her chance to be the same size as Jack! LOL

Enough babbling..my card:

Supplies

Image: The Character Cafe, Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle, Stampin Up and Bazzill, Punch: Martha Stewart, Ribbon: Stampin Up and Buttons: Dress it up!, SKETCH IS BY ME!!!!!! I can't believe I wanted to do my own! :)

I colored this while at a Stampin Up class. I brought a whole bunch of images to work on so that I could get a head and just have to assemble them when the time came! I had all my Thursday Challenges done by Tuesday! I was kicking butt! Now I will use my time that I would craft to color more images! Whoopee!

Well I have to say I am pooped after being gone most of the day! I hope you will join us at The Character Cafe blog for this week's challenge!

Love this card Fink! You really rocked the colouring of this image.
I was just colouring it myself today...it's turning out pretty good, I'll show it when I'm done.
I really like the starfish too, what a great addition to the card!
