AiFactory Challenge 12 & an apology

I had a better plan of a card but it did not work out!!! I don't feel like explaining it because it will only make me upset! LOL I worked forever it seemed to just turn around and change it all! I ended up using a totally different image and then grabbed my Cardmaker's Christmas sketch book for a design! I kinda did the sketch but changed it up.

This weeks challenge was to of course use an image from Ai but also somewhere use chipboard! The first thing I thought of was snowflake!!!! The only thing that stayed the same from the original thought, I had, was this dang snowflake. Hee hee Let me show you the card. I am sorry that it is not much to look at! I think frustration just go me!

Supplies

Stamp:
Our deer reindeer (by Softpencil)

Paper:
DCWV Christmas Stack & Bazzill

Ribbon:
Offray

Snowflake:
Sizzix

Metal plaque:
No clue!

I used my Prismacolor Pencils blending with Gamsol, no surprise there!!!!!! I will tell you I don't know why it was so stinking hard to get this card window cut out! It started as being a shaker card with different image and ended up like this! I cut the window, trimmed it, trimmed it some more, cursed and trimmed again and I still don't think it came out straight. I cut the snowflake, painted in with 2 layers of white paint then sprinkled it with blue and white chunky glitter to make it stand out!
I added the blue ribbon to bring out the colors! I felt it needed more so I added the Merry Christmas.

Tuesday I am looking forward to a girls night out with my Mom. We are going to a place called the Melting Pot which is a fondue restaurant. James and I were there for our Anniversary using a gift card from Jack and his mom. It was actually very unique and fun. So out I go with Mom. Wednesday is Jack's birthday so we are doing another party for him this year since his mom works second shift. We are having Chicken Tettrazini (his pick), birthday cake and ice cream. My parents are coming over, like last year, and possibly the in laws! We will decorate the house again and of course bring out the camera. Taylor made him a CD of all the things they have done in the 2 years they have been dating including our 4 family vacations he has gone on! I can't believe they have been going out that long. He is going to be 15!!!! Wow time flies! Thursday I am gonna crawl in a hole and hide because I have been to busy for me! LOL

Well hugs all! Sorry my eye candy is not all you are expecting. See you soon for the TCC Friday Challenge. Also don't forget about the Tek Tuesday at The Character Cafe blog. Also I have blog candy remember! Just do a challenge from one of the places I am a DT member! Thanks all for the love and I am blessed to have so many followers!

****Update*****
If you do the challenge at AiFactory you have a chance to win a free monthly kit! Now that is a great deal.
