This is the card I did for the paint challenge at Caardvarks. I painted the chipboard with MM pink paint. The card with window is from a Making Memories kit, ribbon & watercolors are SU and stamp is Stamping Bella! I really enjoyed this challenge and actually like this card! Can you believe it????? I said I like it!

This weekend was also World Card Making Day at Creative Xpress. The DT hosted a variety of challenges for us to try! We had until Monday to post them which is good because my weekend was crazy and I did 3 of the challenges Monday!

This is the one for Robyn's halloween challenge: I stole the design of the card from my friend and loyal blog poster Stampin Meg! She sent me a card with a cute frog that I just loved so I copied the style for this challenge. The cat with ribbon on the scallop is actually a rak from my good friend (Meg), the cardstock is SU, the pattern paper is DCWV, the trick or treat stamp is who knows, the trick or treat holograph is from the wonderful Meg. I like this one because it came out cute (a first for me) and it was a fairly quick design especially since I lifted it! LOL

The next challenge I did was Cari's friendship one. This one was pretty quick too since I had used the style before. The cardstock is SU, pattern paper- ??, Fiber - a rak, Fiskar scissors, stamp - Stamping Bella, watercolors - SU. This is the new Billboardabella stamp! It comes with several different sayings that you can put in the frame! I have to say that I like this one too! Make sure you are writing this down on your calendar peeps because I said I like it!

The next challenge I did was Anna's scallop and stamp one. Again I cheated with the card! This is from the MM kit too! Patterned paper - no clue, ribbon - SU, Stamp - can you guess?, HB & Rhinestone- Joanns. I decided that I wanted to have a round paper on the card. I used my Creative Memories template and red blade to cut it out. I am going to say it again--I like it!

There were fun challenges even though I did not win :( LOL. I might try the others just for fun! They are good to refer to when making cards!

Well I am done blabbing for tonight and will post tomorrow what we did over the weekend with pictures of events at the pumpkin patch with my girls and my friend Chris' boys! We had a great time so make sure you come back!

Thanks for stopping! And you come back now you here!
